Tanda-tanda Mahasiswa Indo di Aussie

Dari cerita2 teman di Uni, beberapa hal untuk menandai bahwa orang tersebut adalah mahasiswa Indonesia (soalnya kita bisa salah jangan2 orang Malay, Filipino,Burma, Vietnam,...atau Cina, solanya pernah sy dikirain orang cina, Malay, Filipino dan juga Burma):

1. Memakai tas backpack (tas ransel) merek "EAGER".
Teman saya langsung nyapa "hei apa kabar".
Lho koq tau sy ini orang indo?
Soalnya tas nya merek "EAGER"
hanya di Indo merek "EAGER" ngetop

2. Nyengir ketika ketemu apa orang (bahkan yang tidak dikenal)
Suatu ketika di sebuah Conference di Hotel Stanford Adelaide
Seorang mahasiswa langsung menyapa "dari indo ya?"
kog bisa tau?
Iya , situkan selalu nyengir ketika ketemu di lift
(memang orang Indo peramah dan selalu tersenyum, biar susah
atau stress denger bencana, kecelakaan pesawat, KA, dll)

3. Kalo ke Swalayan, selalu saja ada Indomie di keranjangnya
Indomie adalah made in Indo yang ada di semua swalayan, Coles,
Woolsworth, dll.
Indomie, biar instant, dan mengandung sedikit B3, yang penting praktis
dan mengenyangkan.

4. Pasti tau "Tuan Phat"
Dosa lo, kalo mahasiswa Indo di Adelaide ga tau Tuan Phat
Biar dpt "high distinction"

, kalo ga tau Tuan Phat, diragukan ke-adelaide-annya.
Kalo rindu Indonesia, ga usah telepon ke kampung, ke Tuan Phat aja jum'at ama Sabtu, pasti merasa di kampung sendiri.
